Continues to be my favorite app
Currently learning German obsessively...the ability to add your fluency percentage to you linked in profile was a genius incentive move and totally worked on me. I love the feature on the desktop version that includes timed practices, that has really helped me and I would love to see that on mobile and iPad (because of course I use it cross-platform)
one thing I would change is how the "practice weak skills" algorithm is handled. I have a tendency to miss a few days or even stop playing for a while as I'm sure many users do, and it seams only appropriate to spend more time practicing my weak skills when it's been a while. However, it seems to always start me off from the first skills I learn which I totally understand, but now it's been months since I've ever practiced some of my skills because that feature keeps just starting me from the beginning and going in order. How about a bit of jumping back and forth so I get a chance to practice some of my more recent, but still pretty old, skills? I feel like the only things that are fresh in my mind are the basics and the new stuff, nothing in between.

I am learning Spanish. This is extremely helpful and I'm getting the hang of it. However I'm not sure why this changed, before when you got an anwser wrong there was a description that popped up to let you know why it was wrong. For example, if you said "el" instead of "la" it would tell you why you had got it wrong and explain the gender role to you. Now something just pops up saying you're wrong an simply saying what the correct way was. There is also no descriptions on the correct way to write the language. For example "e" and "é". When you get this wrong it just spells it the right way and moves on. Also, when you have to choose from a list of words to form a sentence, the first word is ALWAYS capitalized, so you always know what the first word is. Even if you were going to choose another word that was wrong and learn from it, you always choose the right one because its capitalized. So if you have to choose between "el" and "La" you know that the answer is "La" because it's the one that's capitalized. :/
Good God...
This app works amazingly for an entirely free resource. I admit it would attract more people if it had more languages, but the people who make the courses are volunteers who owe us nothing. People keep complaining: "OMG I hate this app it doesn't have Japanese DESUUUUUU!!!!" But it just isn't advanced enough for the writing system of certain languages. Give it some time for crying out loud, and stop complaining because these people are trying their best, and they are the first language learning resource to be open to the public without any cost. They are the first of their kind, and they haven't gotten around to certain things so all you impatient WEEABOOS out there are just gonna have to wait before you can learn Japanese. ( and I say "can" because learning a language is a big deal, and if you aren't patient enough to wait for a course to come out, you won't be patient enough to get through it!
